St Louis staff and students were delighted to have had Nikki Cullen-Hunter from the Super You Project visit the school and deliver a 6 week programme to Year 11 St Louis students.

The aim of the project is to Empower Future Generations Today through the 3 core principles of ‘The Science of Achievement,’ ‘The Art of Fulfilment’ and ‘Emotional Mastery. Each week, Nikki guided the students through these principles in fun, interactive hour-long workshops. It is the stated aim of ‘Super You’ that they want to ensure ‘our young people thrive in life and overcome the many challenges and pressures they face in school, home life and in today’s youth culture.’

The feedback from the students who applied for the project bore true testament to the success of this initiative. Overwhelmingly they appeared to have really enjoyed the sessions. Mrs Brenda Cunningham, who organised the project in the school highlighted the mood of the students involved. “The students learned a lot about how to manage their emotions. The programme provided great tips for navigating life’s challenges.”

She concluded, “We believe the students involved got more out of this programme than even they expected, but that was largely down to their own commitment to the aims of the programme. Well done to all, you were all super!’
